An amazing story from one patient : A gentleman had been suffering debilitating lower back pain, leg pain and foot pain for over a year. Like many patients he had been told to take painkillers and just to cope the best he could. He had been given little chance of walking for very much longer. After a thorough physical examination, a course of treatment using chiropractic adjustments was advised. Within 6 months of starting care at Glasgow Chiropractic the patient had overcome his chronic pain, regained his lifestyle, increased his energy, lost weight and was able to fulfill one of his life’s ambitions that he thought was lost forever – to walk the Great Wall of China.

Holmes” I wouldnt not give a fig for the simplicity this side of complexity, but I would give my life for the simplicity on the other side of complexity.

“Lets make Wellness Simple”

(*please note that these tips are for educational purposes only and not intended to be medical advice)

Physical Wellness: My view is that great structure and posture are important places to start. We want to get you standing up straighter and into a neutral position where possible, so gravity isnt combining with poor posture and increasing stress on your body. We can now focus on methods to improve your structure and posture and improve your core strength and balance. Its also a great way to get your back into shape and reduce back pain. Enquire about of one of our structure correction programmes today.

Posture Matters

Mental Wellness : Great tip I was given… “practice feeling good for no reason”. The fun police wont arrest you as far as I know. Yes, you have permission to feel good. Practice it and you are likely to get used to it.

Be your chemist. How you think effects how you feel and releases chemicals into your body. Produce more ‘feel good chemistry’ inside your body. The more you practice the better you get at it.

Helping you to feel good for no reason. Some people call it “background happiness”

What about feeling exquisitely happy in the privacy of your own mind. With practice and training you can refine this and its another great habit. Practice feeling good.

Clean your brain out, just like you clean our your hard drive on your computer. Lots of junk gets in the way at times and doesnt help you to function at your best. This increases stress. Have a good spring clean and learn how to use your own built in clean up wizard. Just like cleaning out your cupboard or old clothes. You can clean out old ideas or old thinking that isnt helping.

Chemical Health: A few simple tips. Ive found lots of people are helped by a zero gluten diet. I also like the tip to combine small amounts of protein with carbs and eat regularly during the day to maintain a steady blood sugar level. Ive found Ive got steady energy all day doing this. I like nuts and fruit as my combination. ( assuming you dont have a nut allergy). Enquire about assistance with your diet.

some basic tips is all you need

What should you drink ?…. water… thats enough really. About 2L a day on average.

Thats it really. I was going to right a book on Wellness, however Im not sure that its necessary. Start with these basics and away you go.

Wellness you can control yourself.
